A note about core policy areas and fundamental outcomes: At the time of writing not only does there seem, surprisingly, no widely-accepted framework for climate policy, but it is a field evolving rapidly, in such disparate sectors as Cascade Institute’s Polycrisis Core Model and Climate Trunk educational platform. The Resilienz Framework is offered with humility as one way of structuring these concepts, albeit in a way that maps reasonably on other frameworks we have studied
FUNDAMENTAL OUTCOMES reflect desired end states that policy should strive to achieve. The diagram below outlines the key facets of a flourishing human enterprise set within the overarching context of restored nature. Fundamental outcomes are expanded on here.
CORE POLICY AREAS: The core policy areas are expressed in the diagram just below. They can be thought of as areas of application of policy, with “synergy” representing the potential for effects across multiple policy areas. They are explained in more detail here.
